Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a state park in Missouri, United States, located near Camdenton on the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. From dark caves to back-country hiking trails to castle ruins perched on a cliff, Ha Ha Tonka State Park is the ideal place for the adventurous.
While you can find some information online about the castle and post office and the interesting story behind the ruins it is better to enjoy it in person. Both the Ha Ha Tonka State Park Visitor Center and the path leading to the castle ruins include educational boards and images of the history of the park and castle.
Most visitors will enjoy the short uphill walk to the castle remains and the water tower located just off HWY D in the state park. Here are some pictures from local adventurer Dustin Holmes.
